About FileShareFree

FileShareFree exists because sending a file should be as easy as handing it over — without accounts, ads, upsells, or files that live in someone's cloud forever. Every transfer is ephemeral by default: files are deleted automatically 24 hours after upload, and deletion is real deletion.

The service is built on open web technology (Astro, SQLite, and standard browser APIs), stores files encrypted with AES-256, and keeps no backups of anything you share.
